Description:	The research deals with the problem of linguistic weakness among students of the first year of the Bachelor of Arabic Language and Literature from the point of view of their professors, at the University of ABDELHAFID BOUSSOUF-Mila, in order to know the causes of this phenomenon and its manifestations in order to diagnose and analyze it, and to develop a treatment to get rid of this phenomenon and come up with solutions that can end the linguistic weakness. And develop the linguistic level of students. This study aim is to answer the ollowing two questions: What are the manifestations of language weakness in students? What are the most important reasons and factors that led to this weakness? What are the proposed solutions to get rid of it? The study population consists of first-year students of Arabic language and literature and their professors at the ABDELHAFID BOUSSOUF- Mila University Center; To achieve the objective of the study, two questionnaires were used, one directed to teachers and the other to students. The questionnaires will include two main areas: the manifestations of linguistic weakness, and the causes and factors that contributed to this weakness. In conclusion, the research will present a set of suggestions and solutions to reduce this weakness.
