dc.descriptionThe study addressed the issue of credit risks in Islamic banks throughout three chapters. The first chapter introduced the notion of Islamic banks. The second chapter presented the most important credit risks to which Islamic banks are exposed. The third chapter provided an illustration of credit risks in Al Baraka Banking Group. The following are the main results of this study: -There are several ways to analyze credit risks in Islamic banks that are similar to their traditional counterparts. -There is no special way devoted for the easurement of credit risk in Islamic banks. -The value of bad debts at Al Baraka Banking Group is greater in the debtbased formulas than in the partnership-based formulas. -Islamic banks use several means to protect against credit risks, such as guarantees, provisions, etcen_US
